FREE Children’s Halloween Party

FVCC Arts and Technology Building

Kalispell MT

The Flathead Valley Community College Student Government will host a free Children’s Halloween Party in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building on the college’s Kalispell campus.   Open to children ages four to eight years old, the event will offer face painting, Halloween games, fortune telling, and other festive activities.
Children who attend are encouraged to dress in costumes and must be accompanied by an adult.

Annual Downtown Whitefish Halloween Costume Contest

Contestants must be 21 years of age (ID required)

$5.00 per person entry fee
Once again, participating downtown Whitefish bars have teamed up with Blackstar to sponsor the annual Halloween Costume Contest and have established a purse of $1350 to be awarded in cash prizes!
Cash prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Best Individual Costume
Best Couple Costume (2 persons)
Best Group Costume (3 or more persons)
Cash prizes in each category are:
1st Place $300
2nd Place $100
3rd Place $50
Proceeds benefitting the Whitefish Food Bank.
Starting at 6 pm and concluding at 9 pm sharp, contestants must visit the judges at all 7 participating bars: The Bulldog, The Remington, Cooper’s, The Great Northern Bar, The Great Northern Brewing Company , the VFW, and The Craggy Range Bar & Grill.   Contestants may register at any of the seven participating bars, and then take their judging card to be validated at the remaining six bars. Contestants with completed judging cards should then report to the Craggy Range Bar and Grill by 9:30 pm for the awarding of prizes.
All City laws and ordinances including the open container law must be observed.
