It was our 7 year anniversary and she thought we were going to have dinner and show. But I wasn't at the house when she came home. Instead she found a note on her laptop telling her to watch a video on her desktop. The video told her to get ready and that a car would be there soon to pick her up. Our friend Ashley was the driver, and her cousin Stephanie helped to blindfold her before they left the house. They then took her to the pyramid at CSULB where I had a special surprise for her. I gathered most of our friends and family for a special performance and a surprise ending. We met as dancers on separate competing teams in college and the pyramid was where she used to always practice. I plan for a helicopter to fly above n take. Photos of me on a knee just in front of the words will you marry me. We walked down towards the shore and found the surprise right off the dock— A stunning, candlelit pontoon! I was baffled, what a shock! Furnished with a blanket, baby roses, my favorite food… Plus, the setting sun overhead helped to set the mood. I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear the moment I stepped aboard. I spotted a sign that read Moonlight Cruise—I should’ve known what was in store! But I was naïve and unsuspecting, enjoying the ride over the lake, Taking in the romantic setting, savoring our magical date! The tranquil water that mirrored the sunset, soon reflected the star-filled sky, The night had been so perfect—I knew this was the guy! It was then during our stargazing—he got down on one knee, Poured out his heart, raised up a box, and asked, “Will you marry me?!” I felt like the luckiest bachelorette, I couldn’t believe my eyes! “ Of course I will,” I said, though there was more to this surprise. Happier than ever, we headed back to shore Where I was caught off guard by a voice I’d heard before! Indeed it was my father…and my mother, too! My now-fiancé flew them in—the night was too good to be true! We then all took one final cruise, To celebrate this joyous news! This past July, my boyfriend and I were vacationing with his fam
